Our History
Pregnancy to Parenthood (P2P) commenced operating in 2014 within the Edith Cowan University Psychological Services Centre. Across the next seven years the service grew rapidly in providing essential training and clinical hours for Psychology students at ECU as well as supporting vulnerable families in the surrounding communities.
At the end of 2021, P2P began the process of transitioning to a not-for-profit organisation to ensure the long-term sustainability of the service and an opportunity to scale up operations to meet the growing demand for early intervention services across Western Australia.
Since its inception P2P has established a successful framework of preventative mental health care interventions and a specialised parent and infant mental health training model. We continue to build upon this base to improve education, health and social outcomes for families.
